Arp Raph, being a world traveler finds himself in Malaysia with a collection of 13 new artworks focused on the historical Port of Malacca. The motivation behind this endeavor lies in the concept of lines—the lines that connect people, places, and time. These lines serve as parallels, vectors that depict scenes, thoughts, time, and space from the past and present, all of which connect the artist to the theme of Malacca.

The series of artworks varying in sizes, portray scenes ranging from the historical Port of Malacca to a contemporary visual style. Combining oil and acrylic mediums, these pieces achieve a dynamic balance that provides a window into 600 years of history, capturing the essence of the period.

The artworks incorporate anecdotes, acting as hidden gems within the composition particularly in a world dominated by Artificial Intelligence. Arp Raph sets forth a guiding principle: to render what this new technology cannot achieve—an essence of creative analysis and a narrative that enables conversation between art and human intelligence. Through this series of artworks, the expression of individuality is embraced, acknowledging that the delicate thread that weaves through each piece is tied to the realm of human intellect and sentiment.
